changing video card on the mobo

would like to put my video card from one mobo into another . do i just take it out and insert into the other comp. or do i need to uninstall it first?

Yeah. Nothing you do changes the actual card itself, AFAIK (aside from a bios flash). You just need to install it on the new motherboard if you're not going to use the old one.

you don't need to uninstall it from the old machine but if you like keeping things clean, it's not a bad idea to uninstall the driver and software packages
