Changing username without losing post count?

Hey guys, just curious if this can be done. my name is a little too 'unfriendly' for me anymore, considering I joined almost 3 years ago, plus I used the name intending for it to be good for a game of Deathmatch 🙂 Just seeing if the powers that be can change it for me, if not, I'll have to bite the bullet sooner or later and just start using a new name and retire this one 😛

if you PM anandtech moderator they might be nice and be willing to change it for you. however, for someone with 10k posts and 3 years here-- you'd probably confuse a lot of people if you changed it.

That's the thing, I'm not a prominant menber here - sure people recognize my name, but I'm by no means a pillar of the community here 😛 I'll give it a shot tho - thanks Ralli!

Make sure you determine that the name you want is available before you ask the mods to change it.

Until I read this thread, I thought "geno's" posts were made by someone else, I hadn't yet made the connection.

Nice change, close enough to your old nick so as not to totally confuse people, and new enough work.

Maybe I should become "Az" and Rallispec, you could be Ralli. 😛 🙂

Ralli might work.. it'd lose some of the effect though.
