Changing the water inlet valve on a Kenmore he3 washing machine

Anyone know how to change the water inlet valve on a front load Kenmore he3 washing machine? Mine is bad and I have ordered the part, but I have no idea how to do any repairs on a washing machine.

Thanks.

It may help to find a friend who knows how to do this. Offer him dinner or beer during the game or something.

Otherwise, first shut the water supply valves on the wall that are connected to the rubber hoses.
You will need teflon tape (or paste) for the threads. This costs less than a dollar at the hardware store.
