I won an auction on Eb@y. It is with a company that has a website. I was able to get the item for $30 less than they charge on their website. The auction listed the shipping costs. Immediately after the end of the auction I sent payment before an invoice was sent. I payed the auction amount plus the shipping costs they listed in the auction description.

In the invoice they are trying to charge $2.50 more than listed in the auction. I have sent them an email regarding the situation.

Anyone ever had this happen?

How did you handle it?

nope, but if it did, i'd just email them, explain the situation, see what they say... if they don't want to give it to you for the original price, forget it... unless... 2.50 isn't that much to you, which it really isn't... but principle!! they raised the price on you... raise hell!!!

Well it will be a pain in my ass to not just pay the extra because I did it with a credit card on Paypal. I know I won't find a better deal but it is crappy tactics to pull.

DAM man I'd be pissed at the principle of this.

I would contact ebay about it and see what they have to say about it.

I had a similar problem with an Ebay seller. I complained to Ebay and they said that it wasn't their problem. The shipping charges are between the buyer and the seller. I finally just left negitive feedback.

You already saved $30 right? If you really really want the item, pay the extra $2.50 and leave them a bad feedback.
