Changing the face plate of a DVD/CD burner.

I want to buy a new DVD/CD burner but i cant find a blue one so it will match my case, is it even possible to change the faceplate, if so where can i buy one?

Most suggest using a vinyl dye to change the faceplate color - start with a beige drive (car parts place - it's normally used on upholstery). Or plastic compatible spray paint such as Testors model paint (from WalMart, etc). Faceplates are easy to remove. Do a manual eject on the tray (straightened paper clip), remove the tray front first, then the bezel comes off easily - sometimes have to open the case.
. And some drives come with three bezels and tray fronts - one of which is silver which would complement a blue case nicely. MSI sells some like that. At least one MSI drive has a blue tray front that goes with a light beige surround. It also has a smoked translucent tray front and bezel. It's the X52.
