I wasn't sure which forum to put this in so if a mod feels it necessary he can move it. I figured most people are hanging around in here anyway.
My Question:
My parent's computer originally had 1 HD. A while back it started giving an error durring startup that it was going to fail soon, so we bought a new one. I installed Windows 2k on it and have moved over all the necessary files. I still have the 2 HDs in my machine and it still gives me the error/warning during startup. I'm trying to take out the first HD but apparently it has the boot.ini files or whatever is needed to signal Win2k to start. If I take it out I just get a C:\ prompt at startup. How can I get my second harddrive to startup windows without losing any information in the process?
