Changing roommates, need suggestions on best way to deal with security deposit

FAST AND EASY SUMMATION AT THE BOTTOM

So basicallyI took over the apartment lease from a friend and we have been on it for 4 years now.

now here is the problem, I moved out and my roommate stayed and is getting someone new to move in. I withheld asking for my security deposit for a month because they werent 100% positive they were going to stay and it would be easier if they werent to get it from the landlord

The apartment isnt in as nice shape now (multiple reasons including their dog)...one thing is my bathroom door (also the public bathroom) has a hole in it, I made by accident and I agreed that I would replace the door and make it as good as new or they could ask the landlord and any charges I would pay for

Now her new roommate wants to get the room and bathroom professionally cleaned and wants it to come out of my security deposit...the room is if fine shape, maybe a couple small marks on the walls, carpet is fine...bathroom is dirty, but can be cleaned and after I left I know my roommates washed their dog in that shower and stuff, so its not 100% just me

Under california law I cant be charged by the landlord for paint since i have lived there a certain amount of time and I dont think he could charge me for carpet either, so I don't really want to have to pay for this "professional cleaner" but I dont want to be a dick either

how much should I offer to pay for the room to be professionally cleaned. I have no clue who the person moving in is, but am good friends with my old roommate...

I will probably call the landlord and ask him tom. and see how much normally he takes off the security deposit for cleaning, but just thought i would see if anyone has been through this before

NOTES:
I moved out, new roommate wants me to pay for professional cleaning of the room out of my security deposit...how much is the best to offer to take out for professionally cleaning of the apartment

MOST people don't professionally clean their bathroom.

Remind me what's stopping you from just cleaning the place yourself, again?
