I've run into the age old problem, and was wondering if anyone had a solution.

I am now in WinXP land, and am installing CS to whittle away some time. But I just remembered, I'm going to be stuck with a nice 'n flickery 60Hz refresh rate on my wonderful Samsung 950p which sits comfortably at 85Hz @ 1280x1024.

I've heard there is a way to change the default refresh rate for OpelGL/D3D/DX games, but don't know how personally. Can someone enlighten me?

(And no, I'm not talking about the "Go to display settings... adapter tab, and change the refresh rate...)

Thanks!

There is a program called HZtool, but it only works on Win95/98. Bug the author to make it work in 2k/XP.

Anyone know if the dxdiag thing does it for OpenGL as well? I know usually vendors use directx to initialize for opengl (dunno why tho).
