changing racial demographics @ the Block in orange?

For those in southern california...

Just went by the block last night for the first time in probably 6-8 months. Noticed that the racial groups seem to have radically changed from a few years ago. It seems that the block went from mostly white to high influx of asians, and now to high influx of latinos. Anyone else noticed this? I wonder what's caused this to change.

What sucks is that no matter what race is there, you always seem to get a huge number of a) high school kids, and b) wannabe thugs. The Irvine spectrum has now also been overrun with Marines from Camp Pendleton. Strange trends.

Combination of those two is the worst thing ever. I hate those 14 year olds who have little mustaches and walk around in clothes 5 sizes too big, acting like a thug

lol... havent been there in awhile... but yeah last time i was there were a lot of teenybopper asians... cute girls... but you can go anywhere in so. cal and you'll see the thugs anyway so there's no escape really.

Six to eight months, its always been like that for awhile. I stop going there years ago.

yeah, there have always been wannabe thugs there. That's not what surprised me. It was the change in racial demographics. Maybe i just went on a weird night.

was there like a week ago, didnt notice much of a change. and lol at the marines from pendelton! about time they migrated. whew, im not saying all marines are like this because i like near o'side and have some marine friends, but i see a lot of them at the mall and at the movies in o'side trynna pick-up 16-year-old girls. every girl i know though down here has a good marine friend or has dated one, and known them since high school. quite funny actually.

Yea, I noticed its like that when I go there.. I hardly go there anymore though.. heard of too many stories of people getting their cars jacked there.

well its the summer vacation so im sure everyone is down there... probably downtown disney too.
