Changing Paging File Size

I've read about different formulas for setting the paging file size on one's computer - but I really don't get the calculations. I'd really like to force my computer to use as much RAM as possible to speed it up even more as I have 8 gigs of RAM. can someone breakdown the calculations (or just give me the numbers if that's easier) for me? I'm just terrible at math. Here are my computer's specs:

1000W Silverstone Strider Power Supply; NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI Motherboard; Intel® CoreT 2 Quad Q9450 (2.66GHz x 4) 45nm 12MB L2 Cache; Dual 120mm X20 CPU Water Cooling System; 8GB Kingston HyperX 6400 DDR2-800; Western Digital VelociRaptor 300GB 10,000 RPM 16MB Cache - SATA II; 20X Dual Layer DVD±RW Drive w/LightScribe Technology; NVIDIA® GeForceT GTX 280 1GB GDDR3; HT Omega Claro 7.1 soundcard; Integrated Gigabit Network Card; Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate (64-Bit) SP1

Thanks a bunch to anyone who can help - I really appreciate it!

Page file isn't the amount of RAM the OS uses; it's the amount of space on the hard drive it will use when the OS runs out of available RAM. All you need is a 64 Bit OS if you want it to utilize all 8GB of what you have.

So then if I'm running 64 bit Ultimate - which I am, they are no adjust that I can/need to make, to make it run faster?
