Changing my name in windows

I threw together a computer for fun from mostly spare parts and loaded XP
and have it all running smooth. When I installed windows I used "Me" for
the owner name. When I install software it picks up "Me" as the owner. Is there
a way to change "Me" to something else ? Someone wants to buy it now and
I don't want to reinstall windows and all the other software again if I can avoid
it. Software maybe ? Registry change ?

I know it sounds paranoid but because the person you are selling it to can turn around and unknowingly sells it to another person who may have nefarious leanings:

Ultra Wipe the HDD. Even after a long time, some files can remain. When you delete something from windows, what you actually did was tell the file system that it is ok to overwrite the file if the opportunity comes. If you have a file all the way toward the end of your HDD, that time could be a long time coming.

They'd have access to files that may be sensitive...

Safety first 🙂
