I surently have a Soyo 5ehm w/ an amd K6-6 500, and Win2000. I am changing to an EPOX MVP3GM-5 with a AMD K6-III+ 450.
Do I need to change anything on the OS?? I think I just need to un-install the drivers from the old board, and then reinstal the new ones with the new mobo and cpu... what do ya think?

I am not in the mood for a little "Format C:"

also, anyone ever overclocked with this combo (mobo\cpu) I have heard i can get up to 616 khz?? thanks for your input

Won't hurt to try changing mobo's w/o deleting and reinstalling the OS, maybe you'll be lucky. But, the chances are that bits and pieces of the old registry will be corrupt and installing Win over Win won't repair it. BTW, you don't have to format C. just boot from DOS, del win, then install fresh. Have your CD's handy to refresh the .exe's and preferences.
