Changing mouse configuration on a laptop

Basically setting the different buttons to different functions.

Where can I do this?

Control Panel-->Mouse just gives me the wireless mouse that I occasionally use.

what do you mean, the left and right mouse controls??

Is it a mousepad built on the laptop or an external mouse?

If you have correct drivers installed for the mousepad you should be able to see the options in Control Panel, and change mousepad config.

e.g. Tap bottom/left side of mousepad = minimise.
