Changing motherboards, same chipset: format or no?

Hey all,

FOr those of you who have followed my previous threads, my recent upgrade to an Epox9npa+ultra (Nforce4 ultra) motherboard from an older AGP solution has caused great instability while gaming. I have thus decided to move over to a similar board with similar features, the MSI K8nNeo4 Platinum. This board uses the same chipset.

Here is my question: will this switch force me to format my hard drive and reinstall Windows, or is there a good chance it will work by itself, especially since I am using the exact same chipset drivers!
