Hi,

When using Win 10 on my PC and pressing start, typing something then clicking on the web search that comes up, it will only use Microsoft Edge.

My pc no longer has Microsoft Edge on it, I've changed default browser but still it wants ME.

Is there a way to change the PC's desired browser selection from ME to another browser?
My preference is G Chrome.

Thank you in advance.

I moved this to Windows software forum, as it is not about AMD GPUs.

You can change the default browser, but I don't think it's possible to not use Edge when searching like you showed above.

I have Chrome as my default browser, and if I do what you did above, it uses Edge (and Bing) to display the results.

Thanks all.

I ended up biting the bullet and paid £0.79 for "Search Deflector",

This works a treat but I had to choose Google.com and when I asked could it be amended to .co.uk I was informed I'd need to contact Microsoft.

I decided to just leave it that.

I'm happy with that
