Changing memory timings with Gigabyte DS3L

I have tried looking for the area where I can change my memory timing in the bios, but can't find it. Is it possible to change memory timing with the Gigabyte DS3L mobo...if so how can I access it. Thanks for your help in advance.

In the main BIOS menu press Ctrl+F1 to unlock all the options. Then it should be in the tweaker menu.

This has got to be the biggest "Taiwan pranks USA" ever.

How many posts have we seen just here in our small little corner of the internet at Anandtech forums on the question of "where the fark is the rest of my BIOS options on this Gigabyte mobo?".

Somewhere in Gigabyte headquarters there is a committee of decision makers who laugh out loud every day over their decision to spend resources paying BIOS engineers to actively hide the memory tweaking options.

Thanks for your help....I had no idea they had made the effort to hide memory tweaking options...this is like a secret level or something in a videogame

I suppose they just want to avoid people screwing things up and then blaming them or the memory manufacturer. Part of me can understand where they're coming from. I agree with both of you though, it's annoying.

I'm not really the type to worry about my memory timings, so it hasn't come into play much for me.

Why?
It is clearly stated in the manual that comes with the motherboard.
All that people have to do is learn how to read.

That has been around in Gigabyte boards forever. Good point about reading the manual - almost every new board I purchase I sit down with the manual before installing anything and just flip through for any new stuff.
Eeryone should learn to do the same - short attention span is what most people have
