Changing keyboard shortcuts in Opera 7.10 Build 2840 free version

I'm used to hitting Ctrl + O to go to a new page in IE but that doesn't work (as far as I can tell) in Opera as it opens a dialog to open a file. I found the interface to change the keyboard settings but they don't seem to be sticking. Am I doing something wrong in applying the new settings or is the problem that I am using the free version?

Currently the shortcut to open a new window is F2 but since we Macro Express at work and this would cause a problem. Any ideas?

Default for opening a new page in Opera is Ctrl + N, just as it is in IE (at least the IE6 that's on this box).

I realize that CTRL+N is new page and that works fine but in IE CTRL+O opens the dialog to go to a new page as in a new webpage. Sorry if I didn't make that clear before hand.

Opera seems to use input.ini to handle shortcuts. You could check that that file isn't read-only, or just open the ini file and change it to whatever you want. That should make it stick.
