Changing Jumper Settings on DVD-Rom

I need to change the settings on my jumpers from slave to master and I was wondering how I go about doing it because I see the read cover type thing, how do I change it? do i pull it out and put it on the other two pins or what? and also wondering why my start up is very slow on the windows xp home boot screen. System specs include 64bit, x800pro, msi k8n neo platinum mobo, and corsair xms ram (1gb)

Nevermind I figured it out, it was pretty simple actually, just wanted to make sure.
