Changing Icon Size in Vista

spacejamz

Lifer
on both my laptop (running Vista Premium) and two desktops (running Vista Business/Vista Premium), when I go to advanced settings and change my icon size to anything under 26, my desktop icons do not get any smaller. They do get moved closer together though.

is there another setting that prevents the icons from appearing any smaller on my desktop?

To answer your question: I dunno, but...

IMHO the Vista desktop is a kludge!

The way I get around this, on my lappy, is by disabling the desktop icons and running Stardock ObjectDock instead!

With ObjectDock you can make them as small (or big) as you want - and it's *FREE*... 😉

HERE'S A SCREENIE

Pretty clean, no? 🙂
