Changing from Galaxy 10.5" to Yoga 11s. Opinions?

I would like to sell my Samsung Galaxy 10.5" 16GB with the Exynos 5420 processor and nice 2560x1600 screen, and get a Lenovo Yoga 11s with 4GB RAM, a 128GB SSD, a Core i5 of roughly 1.5-2GHz depending on turbo and make, and a 1366x768 screen resolution. The reason why is because I feel the Galaxy is neither fast enough nor has the software for good productivity. I'm wondering, do you think I'm making a wise decision? And if not, how come?

You are replacing your Android tablet with a Windows laptop. Sounds like a good idea. Though it's still nice to have an Android tablet around as well, because a Windows laptop sucks as a tablet. :)

Tab S is a bit disappointing in performance. If you decide you want an Android tablet again at some point, I'd consider a Nexus 7, it's cheap, portable, and fast.

My mom is getting that computer sometime next week (the 11s), she is going to be using it as a laptop mainly. I will ask her how she likes it but she lives in a different state. She got a scratch and dent for $430ish on the outlet, still has the same warranty.

I have a Yoga 11S model myself, though I don't use it much as a tablet. My normal W8 config keeps the Start Screen completely disabled and not accessible by any key strokes.

The 11S I have has 4GBs of RAM, 128GB SSD, and the i5 4210Y. I thought I had some Sunspider/Kraken/3DMark benches for it, but apparently I never uploaded them to my Benchmark folder.

I originally bought the 11S because the RAM and SSD are upgradeable in it, they aren't in the Yoga 2 models. However, I have felt a little buyer's remorse for not going for the more robust Yoga 2 13in, with 8GBs of RAM, FHD screen, and 256GB SSD sku.

You might also want to look at the Lenovo Thinkpad 10. It's on sale for $399 (without the keyboard). It's not as powerful as the Yoga 11S. But has a tablet mode, better screen, more compact, and overall pretty good specs. And there is an keyboard for $110 more.

Yeah, that was a good deal, but I unfortunately missed it. I'm thinking about getting a Core i3 Lenovo 2 in 1 with a 500GB non-SSD for between the price of that on sale and what I proposed.
