Is it hard to change the fan in the power supply?

I'm guessing that the majority of the noise from my PC is coming from the power supply & it's getting EXTREMELY annoying :p....?

I'm just wondering how I could change this?

or should i just buy a new one?

ALSO:::

There's no front intake in my case, so is there a better way of creating airflow in my case?

In some PSUs the fan just plugs in to the circuit board, while in others the wires are soldered. If yours are soldered, just cut them and use crimp-on connectors to attach the new fan.

You can mod the side panel and add a couple of 80mm fans for case cooling. That would probably be easier than cutting a hole in the bottom front of the case, although you can do that, too.

My psu has a 2 pin connector for the fan. Instead of cutting the wires or looking for a 2 pin adapter, i've decided to buy an Enermax case fan (80mm) and plug the fan into one of the molex (?) plugs.

Just make that the replacement fan is rated at the same voltage. I had a power supply, a TTGI, that used a 24 Volt fan.
