Changing Drive Letter (XP pro)

Ok, just did a clean install of XP pro on an older rig, but the boot drive is labeled F:

I was able to change the drive letters of all the HD's and optical drives through Disk Management, but the boot drive. I try to, but get the error "windows cannot modify the drive letter of your system volume or boot volume"

is this possible to do? or do I just need to deal with it being drive F:

Partition Magic will let you, there may be others but I have this program and know first hand that it will.😎

Sorry, it's not free.

I had problems getting my SATA drive to be drive C: XP wanted to call it D: since I also have an ide drive in my machine. I just pulled the plug on the ide drive (while the comp was off 😛) before installing. Then I plugged it back in after installation.

sorry if it's a repost, but when you try to search for this, you get squat.

I tried searching, but anyways, thanks for the linky
