Changing documents and settings to a different hard drive?

Hi all, I'm new to the forum, and I've got a question I've been trying to get answered for a while. I got a new hard drive, and I want to use the old one only for program installations, windows folder, etc. I want to use the new one for downloads, and the "My something" folders - essentially to convince windows to have the "Documents and Settings" folder on the new hard drive. I'm not even sure if this is possible. If it isn't, maybe I could change only the "My" folders locations, or even just add a link to my wannabe "My Documents" on the new hard drive in My Computer. Perhaps there is a program I could use, or a trick of some sort?

Thanks in advance for anybody's help, and I'll try to answer any questions you have about what I am trying to get done.

right click 'my documents' on the desktop, select properties, and type in the location you want for it.
