If you click the search icon on Win10, it defaults to a web search. How do I get it to look for apps rather than do a web search? thanks.

Doesn't answer my question.

I finally realized that they removed the search box that was in the Win 7 start menu. That's what's missing. And I'm really pissed about it.

You do the same thing that you have done since VISTA. Hit the windows key and start typing.

Unless I'm way off base. It's been awhile since I've bothered with the 10 preview.

Holy crap I can't believe it's that easy. I was looking for the goddamn search window. The problem is, it still does not know all the apps on my system. If the app or file is not found, then it defaults to Bing search instead of looking on my PC Is there a way to make it index the whole computer?

Now please tell me you have a way to get Sound Blasters working because mine won't and the troubleshooter does not work.

My guess is that SB hasn't released any functioning drivers yet for 10. Have you tried the 8.1 drivers to see if they work?
