Changing default OpenGL Refresh rate on GF2 GTS?

In my quest for higher Counter-Strike framerates, I've found that disabling V-sync induces too many "jaggies" in the game. With V-sync on, I am capped at 60FPS which is what my monitor refresh rate is apparently set at in the game. I run my desktop at 1280x1024 (or higher) at 85 or 100Hz, so my monitor can *clearly* handle these rates.

I am thinking I need to d/l some sort of 3rd party utility to change this - can anyone tell me what it is?

EDIT: Well, I found PowerStrip, but it doesn't seem to work! I set it up in Windows to be 85Hz at 1280x1024 (what I play CS at) and clicked "force standard refresh rates" but that didn't do it. How do I cahnge the settings?

D3D and OpenGL use the same refresh rate as your desktop for that resolution/bit depth. Change your desktop to the same res/bits as you use when playing CS, set the refresh as high as possible, then go back to your usual desktop settings. Then CS will play at the high refresh.

Deek, in Win2K the refresh rates for 3d games get stuck at 60 hz for some dumb reason. That suggestion won't work. What I saw on this board and did was edit my nv4_disp file in the drivers, there is a section where it lists all modes and the refresh rates to be displayed in those modes. Scroll down to the NV15 ones and chagne them to the desired refresh rates for all modes you may use. Then when you install the drivers those refresh rates will work. I don't know if you can just edit the file without installing them, I'm sure you'll figure out what you need to do.
