Changing default new browser window size?

So everytime I click a link to a thumbnail of a pic that opens the pic in a new window always opens it in a small ass new window, so I always have to maximize before seeing the pic. How could I make it open the new window in a larger size by default?

`Next time you do that, resize the window to your preference, then when you exit, use ctrl exit. Sometimes you have to use the menu, and not the red X, not sure why. If that doesn't work, try the same thing with Shift exit. I might be remembering the key wrong :^D
