Changing clk speeds for RAM: BIOS?

I have Riva tuner for my vid card, and GigaByte Easy tune 4 for my M/B, and AMD Tweaker for my CPU, and CPU-z to monitor my RAM. I was told to loosen my timings for my RAM.
It is now set at 3-3-3-8 (default), and I was instructed to reset them at 2.5-3-3-6.
I did add .2v to RAM from the default voltage of 2.5, and I am running a O/C on my 6600 at 518/1053 (AGP). I also changed to multiplier from x9 to x10 on my CPU.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but do I change RAM timings in BIOS?
Or is there another program I need to adjust these timings?
I couldn't recognize exactly which set of topics to choose.
System Build:
GigaByte K8NS Ultra 939
AMD 64 3000+ 1.8GHZ
Leadtek 6600GT AGP 128MB
Corsair XMS TwinX PC3200 512MBx2

Umm. I can't find anything to set the timings. I'm confused, but I just bought the board the other day. I'll look into it.

Got it. At the main BIOS screen, hit CTRL+F1. A new menu will appear, "Advanced Chipset Features"

OK, first thanks for finding the settings options screen 4 me. But,..........
When I try to adjust the timings manually, and re-boot, the screen locks up and refuses to accept commands.
I had to manually turn off power to boot again. Just like when I changed timings in AMDTweaker.
Guess this Corsair RAM won't accept any changes from 3.0 ( I did turn off auto in BIOS first)
I'm stuck............The package the RAM came in was listed as 3.0-3-3-8, and I guess this is where it will stay.
At least I know where to go if I decide to change RAM to a tighter set. Thncx 4 help Green.......TC

Same here, I tried to go from 3.0 to 2.5, but no dice :-

It happens, I'm looking into faster memory now :)

I took the time to remove my RAM and inspect it to see if there was a reason why it might be at fault....
Both the package, and the sticker on RAM sticks are labeled as C2PT. But the RAM runs as reg PT.
I found: It is labeled as: XMS3200C2PT, which has a latency setting of 2-3-3-6 (2.5 for AMD). This perplexed me...
I checked my invoice from NewEgg, and it shows this as what I ordered. I contacted NewEgg, and they are going to RMA the RAM and send me another set. I showed them the CPU-z log where is was set 3-3-3-8, and the Corsair website where it shows this as being a regular PT type of RAM. Maybe Corsair packaged it wrong???? I don't know, but I will have two new sticks, prolly Monday.
I put in this old stick of pc2100 512MB in for now, so I' can check my mail, but no serious gaming for the weekend.
I'll post news when it comes availiable. Thank you for your return posts.......TC
I also had to remove the AMD Tweaker program so it would leave the single stick alone. It would not boot with it in. Kept changing the clk sped to un-godly figures....LOL 133MHz LOL
