Changing BIOS Boot Logo - IBM Thinkpad T41

Ok, here's the scoop.

I have a spiffy new IBM Thinkpad T41, but the boot BIOS logo really sucks.

I found some pretty techno info, but I'm really looking for a simple guide I might tbe able to follow.
I'm GUESSING, but I think IBM uses a Phoenix Bios...anways....



so.... how do I change it?

Can't you go into the BIOS and disable "full bootscreen"
