Changing Address with DMV

I bought a vehicle a few months ago before I moved. When I transfered the title of the vehicle over, I used my college apartment address. I didn't want to use my parent's address because I didn't want them to know I bought it. Now that I've moved, I need to update my vehicle registration information to point to my new address. I just got the registration renewal in the mail. There's the option to change the residence address on the back, but only for that transaction only. I found the DMV change of address form online, but it seems like that would affect my driver's license information too. Since I might not be at this address after this summer, I don't want to unnecessarily change my driver's license info too. Is there a way to only change the vehicle registration address but not the driver's license address?
 
driver license change is just a little card you carry with your license. unless you apply for a whole new license to be made. vehicle title address is totally different and wont affect your DL
 
The form I'm looking at seems to be a generic one for changing address for ID cards, driver's license, vehicle registration, etc. How do I specify that I only want the vehicle registration address to change but not the driver's license address?
 
Change of Address (DMV 14)

Use this form to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of a change of residence or mailing address for your vehicle, vessel, driver license, or identification card records. You must report a change of address to DMV within 10 days of the change. You can also use this form to report a voter change of address, if you are already a registered voter and you still reside in the same county. You will not be issued new documents.

That's the same form I've been looking at and talking about. Since I might be mailing this form in, how do I specify that I only want to change the vehicle address but not the driver's license address? Do I just leave the driver's license number blank or something? There doesn't seem to be an option on the form specifying which address I want to change.
