From what I've read, why tearing with LCDs is common is because of the low refresh rate of typically 60MHZ on most LCDs, but I read that if you change it to a higher refresh you can get away from tearing, like placing it at 75-85.
What do you think about this, how well can a LCD take a change with the refresh without killing it?
This seems like the thing I need to experiment with, picking a higher refresh rate, so I can get away from tearing that I keep getting when I game.
