I saw a T22 on the FS forum that has a cracked LCD, but the seller has a replacement LCD that he is selling with the lappy as well. My question is, just how difficult is it to exchange the LCD, and how can I make sure that the one he purchased as backup, will fit or not. There any guides online? Good ones that is. About to google.
 
There are no general "guides." You need a specific hardware maintenance manual for that T22. Get the specific model # of the T22, go to ibm.com, and search for that #. Its on there 🙂
 
match the make and model lcd. easy to replace an lcd. basically: take the asthetic plastic from around it, unscrew and unplug it, swap a new one in, and put it back together.
