Changing a Celeron 2.8GHz into a P4 2.0GHz

I was wondering if it's possible to switch a Celeron based laptop with a desktop P4 chip? If so, what are the technical details to doing this. So far I can think of running into issues with the heatsink not being big enough and not enough voltage provided by the motherboard.
