Changine stripe size on RAID 0 Array?

RotorHead

Got a RAID 0 array on 2 IBM 75GXP 20gb hdd's. The current stripe size in 16K; I read somewhere that 64K is more efficient. I know how to change the setting, the question is, will I end up having to reformat the array or can I keep the OS and everything else that is on the drives now in-tact?

Thanks for the help,

There has been a lot of tweaking with RAID 0 stripe size and it seems that there are so many variables involved that it hasn't proved much except that it doesn't appear to make a whole hill of beans what you use unless you go to extremes. 16K is a good compromise as it is.
