ALISO VIEJO, Calif.--Buy.com, an Internet store that sells computers, digital cameras and other merchandise, said Chief Executive Gregory Hawkins and Chief Financial Officer Mitch Hill have resigned.
Buy.com didn't give a reason for the departures.
Board member James Roszak will serve as interim chief executive and board member Donald Kendall becomes chairman, the company said in a statement distributed by PR Newswire. Company executives were unavailable for comment.
Robert Price will replace Hill as CFO. Price previously worked at PairGain Technologies, Buy.com said.
Shares of Buy.com were unchanged at 56 cents Monday. The stock has plunged 97 percent
