to be honest, all its going to take is someone with the cajones to hire a lawyer with bigger cajones to file a class action lawsuit. People will sign up in DROVES.

Wife had common name on her pc, I ended up reformatting it, I'd torch that company's building if I lived near it:|

bleh spyware is trash. every computer at my dad's office has some type of spyware crap installed to it. it's ridiculous already. I mean how effective can this stuff really be? Do I really need to have a popup about "male enhancement" pills and refinancing my mortgage every other time I click on a link? It seems so easy for computers to be infected with this garbage it's not even funny. People just click yes to installers that popup and now they are infected. My dad's personal computer had an ad that would popup every time he launched I.E. that claimed that he had a "100% chance of having spyware installed". When you'd click on the link it would take you to a page that would download more spyware onto your computer. WTF is with that?? I talk to people all day long whose computer is full of this crap and have to reformat to get rid of it. How the heck are normal people supposed to get rid of this stuff? Most people would not know to download a program like adaware to remove this stuff; they'd simply give up and buy another computer or pay someone to fix it.

it's like somebody coming up to your home and taping up advertisement on every single wall of your house. When you remove them, another one is put in place.

There should be laws against this type of thing.

I can't believe there are no laws against this yet. They're coming soon but apparently no one in congress has been hit bad enough. Once someone important gets infected watch out!
