Changed PS and it's working now--Abit AN7 BIOS time settings won't work

Latest BIOS v15 is being used. I went into the BIOS area for the clock, and I noticed it was the EXACT same time that I set yesterday! It hadn't even gone forward one second! I just set it again to current time, and it's still stuck!

Also, it won't boot some of the time. Most of the time it boots fine, other times when I short the pwr jumper, nothing happens! I have a cheap 400 watt PS on it now for testing, although it's AMD approved. I'm not putting the Antec True430 on it until it's in the case. Anyone ever heard of this boot problem and the clock not working? Of course nothing on the Abit site regarding these.

I put the Antec PS on it and now the clock is working. Very strange. I would now guess that it will also boot every time.

Very strange indeed. Never heard of it. Oh well, add one more thing to long list of stuff that a crappy psu can screw up.

Yes, it's also booting every time now. Not much of a difference in specs either, evidently the "A Power" power supply is just not a good one. Probably overrated specs, or else outdated specs and won't support a 3200+ Barton very well. It checked OK with an ATX tester, but those things can't test a load. I think the Antec has more 5v current, but less 12v current and same 3.3v. Can't remember now.
