Changed out mobo's: kt7-r for 8kha+

Aside from the pep66 not fitting with a sunon fan (I'm using it with a thin delta right now and it fits/works fine), it runs great.
I have a 256mb stick of Crucial pc2100, and I haven't touched any OCing setting yet, but I'll get to that yet.
Installed win2k no trouble, just a bit of delay between the device listings screen and the actual win2k loading screen (they noted this in the Epox knowledge base....might be something to do wit hthe via drivers perhaps).

Anyhoo's, I'm really happy with the board, no trouble yet!

Tbird 800 (@800 so far)
gf2 32mb DDR OEM
350watt Enermax (oldie, works fine)
diamond fireport 40 dually
2x 4.55gig Cheetah's
intel pro100+ nic
Rhythmic edge sound card

yep sure is 🙂

Oh, and I have the N+ revision 2.0 board, and the BIOS jumpers ARE labelled correctly.
>>

mines the same but I flashed it to the latest bios.

Anyway Viperoni welcome to the Epox club 😉.

I dont think I'll bother flashing for a while 🙂

Thanks, I already OCed (only CPU bus to 133, TBird @ 866mhz, capable of ~1gig).
I gotta fool around with the memory settings later....but I dont have great ram so I'm kinda worried.

Rudy, you said you had crucial 2100? That stuff's pretty good! I had mine at 160fsb on my epox 8k7a with that 600 duron and aggressive memory settings & it worked fine as long as I could cool the cpu.

Mark, Damm thanks for the info! Maybe I'll just go and crank this sucker up! 😀 😀 😀

BTW: Your Duron is doing "dependale rig" duty and it's only running @ 600mhz...no OCing or faster memory settings or anything. "Dependable" is the key word 🙂

Colin Mcrae 2 said no way @ 150fsb......and even rebooting it gave me a few errors @ POST (had to restart 4 times).
Oh well, it's solid @ 133fsb/memory

I just let my comp run for an hour and I completed 22% of a seti WU......that means in a bit over 4 hours I can pull a WU....sweet! 😀
