Well I found out today that the ASUS P8P67 MoBo isn't available to order for my build so my builder found me a ASUS P8Z68 -V LE.

Will this MoBo be a better option? It was only $10 extra.

Now my build consists of:

MoBo: ASUS P8PZ68-V LE

Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer

PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M 700 watt 80+ certified

CPU: i5 2500k

GPU: Sapphire HD 6950 2GB (Dirt 3 Edition)

HDD : Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3

SSD : Intel 510 Series (Elm Crest) SSDSC2MH120A2K5 2.5" 120GB SATA 3

O/S : Windows 7 64-BIT SP1

LG: DVD burner

LG: Multi card reader

Yeah, that's a good board. Especially if you bundle your processor with it at Micro Center! (I think that's one of the boards they bundle with, saving $120 or so off Newegg.)

Otherwise, my new favorite board for overclocking and/or SLI is the ASRock Extreme 3, which is only about $7 cheaper.

Didn't you already have a thread for this build?

LOL. Yes but it had a different motherboard in that build and I want opinions on this one now. Also the other thread got sidetracked and a moderator had to step in since it turned into something other than what the thread was intended to be...

Since then I just wanted to ask about this MoBo switch.

He has like 10 threads for it.

OP, the V LE is fine as long as you're getting it for $135 or so.

Asrock Extreme3 would support SLI but not USB3 front panel. Also a bit cheaper, but only 2 year warranty.

Yes the USB 3.0 was a selling feature for me on this board and actually I instructed the builder to find me a replacment board and make sure it has a 3.0 header. See my case has 2x 3.0 ports in the front of it and it just seems like a waste to not take advantage of that in my eyes. I also can't see myself doing SLI anyways so that wasn't a selling feature to me.

Alot of people like the Asrock Extreme 3 but where it didn't have the header for USB 3.0 and the SLI option didn't matter to me I think this ASUS was my better choice. I don't think the Asrock was available to me anyways so no loss I suppose...
