I found a stock air intake system for my titan online and bought it for $110 shipped. Swapped the K & N "CAI" setup out for the stock airbox and paper pleated filter and couldn't be happier. Previously, when accelerating to pass or towing my boat up an incline, the truck would downshift and roar. It was very loud in the cabin to where you couldn't hold a normal conversation. Now, with this closed stock system back in place, when you accelerate to pass, the sound increase is minimal, but the power seems just as good.

I think it was $110 well spent. Nice to have a truck that isn't loud as a daily driver.

Get some Mass Air cleaner and clean the MAF sensor off. Also get a can of Carb cleaner and spray out the throttle body. I bet both are dirty.

If you want to add even more power to the Titan, get some headers. I was planning on that before I sold mine. Very under rated truck IMO.

Cleaned the MAF and throttle body about a month ago..

But I agree. I'm getting a bonus in February and am putting these on the truck

Wow I hope you have good tires and/or a posi update to the rearend. My factory titan could tear my tires up off the line without any upgrades, it was a 1 tire fryer though. Good headers really seemed to open the titan motor a bit.

I did have a limited slip diff I was going to install but sold it before I could. Eaton Detroit or something like that.
