Seti WU times vary computer to computer but I have found that 2 GHz (Intel standard) will do a typical WU around 3:30 to 3:45 hours:minutes.
3 GHz (Intel standard) complete WUs in around 2:00 to 2:30.

Let's assume a newer PC Probably uses about 100w/hr for electricity, on average. (We'll neglect the additional A/C required to cool the extra heat the PC generates). [For you simpletons, no, the PC does not use all 300W of that 300W powersupply.. that's a "MAX" rating, it may use more than 100W -- this is a conservative estimate].
OK, Energy is $.05/KWH here (depending on how much power you use). So, The energy cost to run = 1/10KWH*$.05KWH = $.005/hr.
That Cheap PC, if current, can probably do .25wu/hr. (1 wu every 4hrs seems to be a sweet spot)
Thus, your energy cost = $.02/wu on avg.
Smokeball = Getting off cheap versus building (one time costs) & running your own. 😀
