It's showing both my old computer name and my new one. The old one is not available, but it still shows up in the list of computer names. It's not causing any problems, I'm just wondering why it's still showing up after I reboot my pc and the router??

How many computers on the network? I bet if you rebooted the __MS_BROWSE__ machine
everything will appear normal.

sorry, I should have been more descriptive...

run the following command from the prompt :

nbtstat -a hostname

replace hostname with each computer name... If one of the returns with something containing :
..__MSBROWSE__.<01> GROUP Registered

then you have found the master browser. Try rebooting that machine. I am sure there is a way
for it to refresh without rebooting, but I don't know how :)

The old computer name is still cached. It'll clear itself out eventually. It won't cause any problems.
