Hello all. Does anybody know of a way to change the full DNS name of a Domain Controller? My problem stems from the fact that I upgraded a stand alone NT4 Server that was part of a domain to Win2k and made it a domain controller for a new domain. So basically it's controlling domain 'b' but it thinks it's part of domain 'a' (it's full computer name is "computer.domain-a.com" and I want to make it "computer.domain-b.com"
. However because it's a domain controller I can't change the computer identity via the System Properties "Network Identification" tab. Is there another way to change the full name/identity of the computer?
