Change what apps run at start up in Win XP?

don't need software really, however I am sure there is a ton that does it,

You can navigate directly to the two places the entries are kept....

On your Harddrive:

Documents and Settings->CHECK EACH USER->Start Menu->Programs->Startup

and in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Run
