hi mods...

I've been wanting to do this for ages... I'vebeen a member for a good couple years now and my username was my counterstrike alias that i picked at the time (bear with me I was 17) anyway its in portuguese and its stupid and embarassing and I'd like to please change it if I could...

To change user name:
Search for the user name you want to use, make sure it isn't already in use.
PM Mods letting them know the name and that it isn't in use.
They'll make the final decision.

This is what has worked for members in the past:
1. Pick the new user name you want.
2. Check to see if anyone else has taken it.
3. Repeat until you find one not already in use.
4. Send a PM to Anandtech Moderator asking to change to the new one.
5. Sit back and wait for a benevolent mood to descend upon them and thus filter on down to you.
