Change resitor on MB to change CPU voltage?

OK I'm running an A7V and I want 2V CPU voltage instead of the board's maximum 1.85v.

Is this as simple as changing the reight resistor or is it MUCH more complex?

Am I just mad?

give it up dude... you ain't getting a gig outta that chip😛

actually... i have no idea how it would be done... but i can't imagine it being easy:Q

I mean does the CPU core voltage just go to a certain pin on the chip or what?

Time to get those AMD tech sheets out 🙂

Is'nt 2v a bit high anyhow? Thats borderline in my opinion, jusdt to see that magic #. I think it involves something other than a resistor. Hey e-phex,we're neighbors. I'm in Providence.
