change partition size on linux

I have 40 megs left on '/var/www/html'

and

8 gigs left on '/home/'

can I throw some gigs at /var/

how do I do that

Buy a new harddrive.

I actually have a new one...how would I work things if I installed the new drive?

Partition and format the new drive, move everything off the old partition, edit fstab to point the partition to the new disk, replace data, reboot. I think thats the basics of it anyhow, its been a while since I added a disk.

Easiest would probably be just to move your data to /home/www and change apache to serve from there.
