Change Number of Item Displayed on Start Menu

My start menu only shows 7 items. I have to click a downward pointing ">>" symbol to display the rest. Does anyone know off hand how I change this so that all the start menu items are shown?

Rt click task bar and select "properties".
On the start menu tab select "customize"
Untick "use personalized menus"
