Change MSN Messenger's Email?

My old email no longer working so basically I went to
http://memberservices.passport.net/
and change my email address.

I can successfully log in but then all of people on my list (100+) appears offline. And then i change back to old email, it goes back to normal. anyone has the same type exp please help thank you

Perhaps the people on your list need to add your new email address to their contact list. Hence the reason they're all "offline"
