My current laptop is Lenovo IdeaPad Y450:
Intel Core 2 Duo processor T6600 (2.2GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache)
2GB DDR3 1066MHz
NVIDIA GeForce G 110M 256MB
Windows 7 Ultimate 32Bit

What model of Nvidia Graphic card can i replace with this?
Can my Lenovo Y450 install 64Bit windows?

call you laptop manufacturer. Laptops tend to be highly propritary devices and as such often need specific hardware combinations to work properly.

No to the graphics card, yes to the 64-bit.

Someone will tell you yes to the graphics card for sure then qualify it with a long paragraph about how its essentially impossible.

sorry, don't know what your technical level is, but if you're not comfortable already messing around in the guts of your laptop you're most likely going to just fry the whole thing. you're better off selling it and getting something newer/faster.

Laptop graphics cards are
A) Very hard to find

B) Come in 5 (last I checked) different shapes and sizes. The MXM standard is really barely a standard.

C) Along with all the standard problems of a desktop graphics card (Power requirements, cooling requirements, proper slot type etc etc etc).

You gotta do more research before you buy next time and just accept the fact that your laptop is pretty much frozen in time.

As others have said, laptop graphics cards generally aren't meant to be replaced. A few high-end units come with socketed graphics cards, but they're generally A) expensive, B) huge, and C) dedicated to gaming. On top of that, finding a new mobile graphics card for sale for the socket will be difficult as well.

On a side note, the way you type with the tildes (~) at the end of the sentence and the =.=||| face reminds me of a Korean buddy I had back in the Diablo 2 days. Any chance that you're Korean? :p No offense meant.

There are places in the UK that have swapped video chips in older thinkpads, but in today's market you'd be better served hunting down a new motherboard off ebay or the like.

Some laptops indeed have a small selection of cards but almost all need to be 'whitelisted' in the BIOS. Your Lenovo is not one of them.

I am going to change out my Thinkpad T60's motherboard from a 950GMA to X1400 as soon as the rest of the parts come.

Lenovo.com has all the hardware manuals available that give a step by step break down on servicing your device.
