thanks

Ok, found it at /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts

now i have these entries:

DEVICE
IPADDR
NETMASK
NETWORK
BROADCAST
ONBOOT
BOOTPROTO
USERCTL

where should my 'gateway' fall onto these entries? will i just modify the ifcfg-eth# file, and thats it? since this PC is a firewall, should i be required to modify the IPchains?

by the way i didnt found either netconfig or redhat-config-network-tui on my system

regards,
